Hi everyone,
Thanks for reading. My name is Ryan Beck. I thought I’d tell you a bit about my background. As you can probably gather I am a DIY enthusiast. Over the years I’ve renovated a few homes, and built a few garden sheds, chicken coups and storage sheds among other things.
I got the bug early from just watching my father and copying him. And I hope that I’ve been able to pass my skills on to my boys too. They come out and give me a hand when I’ve got a project on. I’ve made this site to encourage aspiring DIYers and to give you a bit of a head start on the planning stages by providing some common shed plans as well as giving you some of the tips and info that I’ve picked up over the years and that I wished I knew before I started some of my projects. I probably would have saved a whole lot of money and time if I would have found my siteback then! So, hopefully you’ll find the info useful, and more importantly just get out there and have a go.
My wife often wonders why I bother when I could just go and buy my next shed, but I reckon the reward (yes, and sometimes frustration) of building something myself definitely makes it worthwhile in the end.
